Mindset Principle #6

I will seek advice from others.

There's someone out there with a similar background that went on to accomplish similar goals as you. Your mission is to find them.

These people can provide valuable insight that can save years of effort and lessons learned the hard way. Think of them like your board of advisors who provide expertise and advice.

Mindset Principle #7

No matter how small, I’ll take steps every day to create the life I want.

Your transition is a marathon, not a sprint. Success requires continued daily effort, which creates momentum.

Some days will feel more productive than others, but it’s important to continue moving forward. Small daily efforts multiplied over weeks and months create massive progress.

Mindset Principle #8

I will not compare my transition experience to others.

Each of us is faced with a unique set of experiences, circumstances, and scenarios. It's unfair to compare your story to someone else.

Scrolling all the success stories on social media can create a disheartening feeling that you're far behind everyone else.

Remember that everyone is on their own journey, with their own timelines, and their own unique circumstances.

The success stories you see are a highlight reel that rarely covers the trials and tribulations it took to get there.

Mindset Principle #9

I will explore my options. Life is an adventure!

There are countless options, pathways, and opportunities available to you. You'll never know though if you don't explore.

If something doesn't feel right, it's okay to pivot. Don't paint yourself into a corner by thinking there's only one path to your new life.
